1. Scope
This policy explains how Immersive Border (the “App”), provided by Quanpeng Song, handles information. The App does not require registration or an account.
2. Photos you select
The App uses Apple's system photo picker. Only photos you actively select are provided to the App for border previews, reading embedded photo metadata, rendering, and export. The App does not browse photos you did not select or upload photos to a developer server.
If a selected photo is stored only in iCloud, Apple's system services may download it according to your iCloud settings so it can be provided to the App. Apple controls this process; it does not pass through a developer server.
3. Photo metadata and places
The App can read a selected photo's embedded capture date, camera and lens details, and exposure settings on the device and show them in the style you choose. If the photo contains coordinates, Apple system geocoding may be used to turn them into a place name. The App does not request or read your device's current location, and the developer does not receive photo coordinates or place names.
4. On-device data
Custom border presets, favorites, guide-completion status, the export-album identifier, and rating-prompt frequency records are stored locally on the current device. Presets do not contain your photos. Deleting the App removes these local records.
5. Saving and sharing
When you save, the App renders the result on your device and stores it in a Photos album named “Immersive Border” or its localized equivalent. To create, find, and reuse that album, the App requests Photos access and stores the album's system identifier locally. When you share, the result is passed to a service you select through the iOS share sheet; that service handles it under its own privacy policy. The App does not send the result to a developer server.
6. In-app purchase
The App offers an optional non-consumable “Immersive Border Pro Lifetime” purchase that unlocks High Quality export. Apple processes the purchase, payment method, Apple Account, and transaction verification through StoreKit and the App Store. The developer does not receive your card or bank details, Apple Account password, or complete payment information. The App reads only the product price, verified transaction result, and current entitlement from StoreKit to display the local price, complete a purchase, and restore access. Apple's privacy policy also applies to this processing.
7. System rating prompt
After multiple successful saves, the App may ask iOS to show Apple's standard App Store rating prompt. iOS decides whether it appears. Usage count, app version, and date records used to limit prompt frequency stay on the device and are not sent to the developer.
8. Data collection and third-party code
The current version contains no developer account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting SDK, developer-operated network service, or third-party SDK. Photos, metadata, border settings, local preferences, and rating-prompt records are not sent to the developer. The developer does not collect, sell, or use your personal data for tracking.
9. Children's privacy
The App does not collect personal information from children or from any other users.
10. Changes
If the App's data practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. When appropriate, notice will also be provided in the App or on its App Store product page.
