1. Scope
This policy explains how Immersive Words (the “App”), provided by Quanpeng Song, handles information. The App does not require registration or an account.
2. Learning data and settings
Favorites, review schedules, memory stages, browsing position, view counts, library selection, appearance, and voice preferences are stored only on the current device. The developer does not receive this data. Deleting the App removes these local records.
3. Vocabulary and network access
The current version includes its CET-4, CET-6, IELTS, and TOEFL-related vocabulary libraries in the App. Browsing word cards does not download words from a developer server. The current version includes no developer account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting SDK, or third-party SDK.
4. System speech
The App uses Apple's system speech synthesis to read words and English examples. Voices are installed and managed by iOS. The App does not send spoken text, voice selections, or listening activity to the developer.
5. Sharing and Photos
The App creates vocabulary share cards on device. It requests permission to add an image to Photos only after you tap Save to Photos; it does not read the photo library. When you use the system share sheet, content is sent only to the app, service, or person you choose and is then governed by that third party's privacy policy.
6. Data collection
The current version does not collect, sell, or use your personal data for tracking by the developer.
7. Children's privacy
The App does not collect personal information from children or other users.
8. Changes
If a future version adds remote vocabulary, accounts, analytics, or another feature that changes data handling, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.
