1. Scope
This policy explains how Immersive Album (the “App”), provided by Quanpeng Song, handles information. The App does not require an account.
2. Photos and videos
With your permission, the App uses Apple PhotoKit to access your system photo library for browsing, filtering, sharing, marking favorites, and deleting media after your confirmation. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to a developer server. You may grant access to all or selected photos and change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
If media is stored only in iCloud, iOS may download it through Apple services so it can be displayed in the App. Apple system frameworks and your iCloud settings control this process.
3. Photo locations
When a photo contains coordinates, the App uses Apple's system geocoding service to convert them into city and region names. The App does not request or access your device's live location, and it does not send photo locations to a developer server. Resolved place names are cached only on your device.
4. On-device data and retention
Dislikes, pending-deletion status, filter and browsing preferences, resolved place-name cache, first-use prompts, and review-prompt timing records stay on your device. They are not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking. Deleting the App removes these local records. You can also change the related marks and preferences within the App.
Favorite status uses Favorites in your system photo library as its source of truth. The App reads and changes that status. If iCloud Photos is enabled, Apple may sync it to your other devices. Deleting the App does not clear system Favorites or proactively delete system photos.
5. Sharing and deletion
Sharing is handled by the iOS share sheet, where you choose the destination and method. For permanent deletion, the App submits a PhotoKit request and iOS asks you to confirm again.
6. In-app purchases
The non-consumable advanced-filter purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The App receives product display information and Apple-verified entitlement status only. It does not receive or store your payment method or complete transaction credentials. You can choose to restore purchases made with the same Apple Account from within the App.
7. Data collection and third-party code
The App contains no developer account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, developer-operated network service, or third-party SDK. The developer does not collect data from the App that identifies you or is linked to you. Apple system services used by the App—including PhotoKit, iCloud Photos, geocoding, and StoreKit—are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.
8. Children's privacy
The App does not collect personal information from children or from any other users.
9. Changes
If the App's data practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. When appropriate, notice will also be provided in the App or on its App Store product page.
